From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) The #1 engine cowl was damaged by contact with the jetbridge while the aircraft was being guided to park at gate 4, terminal 9. Investigation established that the jetbridge had been positioned improperly outside of the "safety box" and that the "guideman" and had failed to note this fact during prearrival inspection of the gate/ramp area. The fact that a depression in the ramp caused "puddling" around the safety box, obscuring the jetbridge operator's view of the safety box boundary lines, was a contributing factor.

As the FAA filed it
