From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) PIC made his approach to the newly designated approach threshold while on a stabilized approach to rwy 36. During runway rollout, he applied normal to heavy braking which did not seem to slow his speed as anticipated. PIC observed the runway end approaching and elected to turn left on the last taxiway off ramp. PIC initiated his left turn too soon causing nose gear to drop off the asphalt into soft soil which caused the nose gear to collapse. Note: Henderson executive airport is currently under heavy construction wherein they have a displaced threshold which allows for a 2800' usable runway.

As the FAA filed it
