From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) At approximately 2025 CST on February 14, 2003, while on a revenue flight from detroit, mi (dtw) to Bloomington, IL (bmi) and on the final approach to bmi the flight was told to go-around due to equipment on the runway. The PIC executed a go-around and contacted peoria approach control. At that time the PIC experienced a "caution light illumination" and loss of the right a/c generator which caused a loss of de-ice capability on the right engine. In-flight icing conditions prevailed at the time. The PIC was unable to rest the generator and declared an emergency. The PIC executed another approach and landed at bmi without further incident. The PIC taxied to the gate and deplaned all passengers and crew.
