What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
(-23) After landing tailwheel began to shimmy violently, resuling in the loss of spring tension, and the subsequent loss of spring connection (both) to the steering arm assembly. With loss of tailwheel directional control aircraft weathervaned with slight crosswind, and departed the runway in a groundloop. The left main gear folded under the aircraft, allowing the left wingtip and aileron to contact the runway, as well as the propeller, resulting in a groundstrike. Resulting damage included a cracked left rear spar, as well as damage to the left aileron.
