From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Student pilot doing solo, complete stop, touch & goes (t&g's), completed two t & g's with no problems. On the third attempted takeoff, the wind shifted and the aircraft drifted to the right. The pilot stated that it felt like the landing gear hit a runway light. At this point he abruptly pulled up and stalled the aircraft. The aircraft hit runway 28 hard and caught on fire. The pilot was able to egress the aircraft and he sustained only minor injuries. The aircraft was totally destroyed. Investigative personnel could not find any broken runway lights.
