From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) The aircraft landed runway 13 and on rollout the tail came up and kept rising. The pilot pulled aft on the stick and applied power in an attempt to lower the tail and raise the nose. However this did not occur and the aircraft nosed over with the propeller striking the pavement and coming to rest on the spinner and propeller with the tail sticking straight up into the air. This was at the mid point of the runway and off to the side of the pavement.

As the FAA filed it

HOWEVER THIS DID NOT OCCUR AND THE AIRCRAFT NOSED OVER WITH THE PROPELLER STRIKING THE PAVEMENT AND COMING TO REST ON THE SPINNER AND PROPELLER WITH THE TAIL STICKING STRAIGHT UP INTO THE AIR. THIS WAS AT THE MID POINT OF THE RUNWAY AND OFF TO THE SIDE OF THE PAVEMENT.
