From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Upon landing on runway 5 at Naples airport, Naples Florida, the aircraft experienced a brake failure, which resulted in the aircraft overrunning the departure end of runway 5. An examination of the aircraft performed by maintenance personnel revealed a chaffed hydraulic line, which operates the aircraft heat exchanger hydraulic fan. As a result of the failed line, the aircraft lost hydraulic fluid resulting in a loss of hydraulic pressure and subsequent brake failure. A malfunction or defect report, m or d, FAA form 8010-4, filed by operator.
