From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) The pilot was cruising near bartlett lake, AZ. (Approx. 20 miles n.e. of phx) when he experienced the engine having symptoms of "fuel starvation." The pilot managed to keep the engine running using the wobble pump/primer, but at idle speed and surging. The pilot made a forced/emergency landing onto the east bank (sand) of bartlett lake. The r/h landing gear was bent aft and the aft tubular strut of the r/h landing gear displaced the lwr, r/h fuselage tube upward approx. one (1) inch, at the attaching point of the aft r/h landing gear strut. There was no other damage to the aircraft or injury to the pilot.
