From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) In the landing flare, the pilot reported he felt the right rudder pedal jam in the "neutral position". (Left rudder pedal felt normal). Upon landing there was no right rudder available and the a/c could not turn right for taxi. The pilot cleared the runway to the left and was subsequently towed to the line. By the time the a/c reached the hangar the rudder problem corrected itself. 6/18 a Raytheon field team performed an inspection of the rigging and rudder system components. They found a "wood screw" in the rudder pulley, and secured a loose rudder trim wire bundle to clear rudder stops. The a/c was then found airworthy and returned to service. The pilot/owner has flown the a/c without incident.
