From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Tom loumamkin is the owner and operator of sky ways enterprise in kissimmee, fla. 34741. Mr. Loumamkin was also the PIC of N112PS. William serra was the first officer and the pilot flying when they landed at ipl airport on 8/12/04. Witnesses said his approach was high and fast, landed long, causing him to run off the runway and onto the overrun where he stopped the aircraft. He did a 180 turn and taxied to the ramp, took on cargo and departed. Orlando FSDO was called and the pmi, tom littleton, said he saw nothing wrong with the operation, basically no harm no foul. Due to the lack of facts and lack of concern and help from the orlando FSDO, the case is closed without action.
