From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

(-23) Pilot's statement: March 20, 2005 I was flying back from north eleuthera. When I was twenty miles southeast of Palm Beach my engine stopped. I went through all the procedures to secure the engine. I maintained full control of the situation and radioed pbi to let them know the plane's left engine stopped. At that time I had three passengers on board, we landed safely on runway 31 with no further incidents. The aircraft was N3836C, an AC500.
