From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) 3000 Feet AGL the left engine shut down, many attempts were made to restart the engine but all failed. The pilot turned the aircraft trying to make Seligman Airport (P23). The pilot tried three times to put the landing gear down during approach but all failed. The first try was with the aircraft landing gear handle, the emergency landing gear hydraulic system was used next the gear still did not come down, the last attempt was with the emergency landing gear blow down bottle, this also failed to put the gear down completely. The aircraft impacted the ground with only the right main down. The aircraft sustained major damage to under carriage and both engines and propellers.
