What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
(-23) This appears to be a collapse of the right main landing gear (partial) with no damage to prop or engine because MLG folded under flap and held aircraft up. Aircraft was able to clear runway and park in front of hangar. Inspection found bolt broken on right MLG. Subsequent inspection revealed both right and left MLG support truss frames cracked. This appears to be fatigue related. There was no pilot fault with this incident. The bolt and frame failures will be forwarded as malfunction or defect reports.
