From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Aircraft landed on runway 30. Tire marks from the aircraft begin on the left side of the runway near the touchdown point. The tracks veer to the right side of the runway where they show indication of the aircraft beginning to turn to the left as it departs the runway to the right. The tracks then arc back to the left, across the runway, and proceed off the left side of the runway. During this transition, the tracks show a continuous turning of the aircraft to the left. The aircraft contacted a ditch with its right main and nose gear tires which collapsed those gear under the aircraft. It came to rest 57 feet off the left side of the runway, facing the opposite direction from which it landed.
