From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Pilot reported that during final approach phase of flight to runway 26 aircraft electrical system failed following activation of the aircraft electrical fuel pumps. Pilot reported that the electrical failure disabled the aircraft electric flaps, electronic ignition, and electrical propeller pitch. This resulted in a high approach speed of about 100 to 110 knots with no means for the pilot to control the aircraft speed and no engine power to abort the landing. Pilot determined that due to the aircraft speed there was inadequate stopping distance for the aircraft to safely land and opted to abort landing at approximately mid field turning and climbing to the left over an adjacent vineyard. Pilot then turned left and landed aircraft on an 8 foot wide vineyard row that ran parallel to the airport runway. Aircraft sustained substantial damage.

As the FAA filed it
