From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft departed Spokane, felts field enroute to deer park. Approximately 2 miles north of felts field at 3000' pilot noticed unusual engine noise.

Subsequently engine siezed and propeller stopped rotating. Pilot executed forced landing in a vacant field. Flaps failed to extend during final approach. With failure of flaps to extend, a steeper than normal approach was made which caused aircraft to land harder than normal. As a result of this hard landing, pilot sustained minor injuries and was transported to local hospital.
