From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) N564BR was assigned to land on runway 12R at Houston Hobby airport and was on a stabilized visual approach to runway 12R. When the aircraft got closer to the runway, the tower asked where they would be parking. Tower was advised that they were going to park at million air. Hobby tower then asked if N564BR would prefer landing on runway 17, which is adjacent to the FBO. N564BR replied that they would, and tower cleared the aircraft to land on runway 17. The aircraft overshot the final approach course, and the SIC called out "altitude" and "airspeed" for the PIC to correct the condition. The turn over shot the final line-up to runway 17. The PIC initiated a sudden bank over to the centerline on runway 17, resulting in the aircraft dragging the right aileron on the runway surface. The aircraft made a landing approximately 2,000 feet down the runway. The roll out was uneventful. After taxiing in, and deplaning the passengers, the crew was advised by line service that the right wing sustained damage.

As the FAA filed it
