What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
(-23) As the aircraft accelerated for takeoff, it veered to the right. Pilot attempted to keep it on the runway with rudder and differential thrust but was unsuccessful and the aircraft ran off the runway and into a wet, soft strip between the runway and the taxiway. Pilot attempted to add power in an attempt to move the aircraft through the soft area and onto the taxiway but the nose gear sank into the mud and the right propeller contacted the ground.
