From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Helicopter made a hard landing at kajo. While the instructor pilot was teaching the student pilot autorotations from an altitude of 100 feet, the low RPM horn went off and the aircraft descended at a high rate. The helicopter hit the landing pad hard, bounced once and settled to the pad. The helicopter skids were bent, the skin on the right side of the fuselage (near the crew door) buckled, and the tail rotor had paint scraped. No injuries to the airmen. The helicopter was trucked by flatbed back to cno.
