From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) The pilot made an approach into Craig-Moffat Airport after a snow berm moved through the area. The airport had not been plowed since the snow fall, the entire landscape was white with no contrast. Upon visual contact with the runway environment he determined the runway was located between existing snow berms which were approximately 40 yards apart. These are located south of runway 07, and north of the taxiway. He assumed the runway was located there, and landed between the runway and taxiway sustaining damage to the landing gear and lower fuselage area.
