What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
(-23) On the third touch-and-go with flaps set at one notch and at landing flare, the pilot heard the prop ticking the runway, recognized that the landing gear had not been extended and immediately initiated a go-around by pitching up and applying power. The pilot flew a normal pattern, returned to the airport and landed without further incident. The pilot had no recollection of hearing the landing gear warning horn, but indicated that it functioned properly on the previous two approaches. The pilot stated that the extent of visible damage to the aircraft was limited to the last two inches of each propeller blade.
