What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
(-23) Pilot landed on a remote closed airfield that was approximately 1,000 feet in length. There are no published data for this airfield. The winds were gusting at the time of the accident, the airfield is sloping down and the pilot had directional control issues, when he overran the runway and flipped over on its back. The short field, rough terrain, gusting crosswind, and down slope was too much for the pilot's skills.
