From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Pilot stated that he was going to fly the aircraft on a trip during the week of 06/16/2008. So he wanted to do 3 approaches before his trip, on his final approach he stated that he was going fast and he didn't know why. He applied the speed brakes but was still going fast, he was thinking about doing a go around at this time the propeller struck the ground and the aircraft settled on to the runway. During the approach the gear warning was going off but the pilot ignored it. After touchdown the pilot selected gear down.
