From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) According to privacy data omitted (the PIC) while on landing (@emmonak) he felt the nose gear bounce and he made a go around. Fog was coming in so he diverted to sheldons Point upon touch down the prop hit the ground. After landing he noticed there was no nose gear fork and wheel. It had fallen off the aircraft after hitting a rock at enm. This was not reported to the NTSB or roc until I refused to issue a special flight permit until the a/c was released by the NTSB.
