What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
The pilot landed the aircraft on runway 35 at the Lincoln municipal airport. Upon touchdown, the right main tire blew out and the aircraft veered to the right. The aircraft stopped with the right main tire 6 inches off the runway and the rest of the wheels still on the runway. No airport equipment was struck and the only damage to the aircraft was the blown right main tire. The aircraft was towed to silverhawk aviation for repairs. The tube on the right main gear was found to be split in half. The tire was a goodyear flight custom iii and was torn up from the rollout.
