From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Pilot states during taxi on taxiway "s" and on a heading of approximately 060 degrees his aircraft started to slide laterally to the right while on a large patch ice. The aircraft's right tire made contact with dry pavement causing the sliding to abruptly stop. The left wing then started to pick up and due to a strong direct left crosswind caused the aircraft's right wing tip and all three propeller blades to strike the ground. The aircraft received damage to right forward wing tip and all three propeller blades. The weather at the time of incident was VFR with the winds reported from the northwest at approximately 26 knots. Pilot further states as he exited the aircraft he slipped and fell on the surrounding ice and received minor injuries to his back and forhead. See ptrs for counseling pilot.
