From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot aborted the takeoff on a 2600’ grass strip because the aircraft would not rotate. The aircraft went off the runway, through a barbed wire fence and flipped over. The pilot received minor injuries and the pilot/passenger was uninjured. The pilot stated that the tail came up and when he tried to rotate the tail came back down. He then again raised the tail and then decided to abort the takeoff. A recent compression check on the engine shows the engine was operating properly.
