From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) On June 22, 2009, at 1624 local time, a Cessna CE-210-T210M, registered to privacy data omitted, had a nose landing gear fork failure on roll out (at approximately 5 mph) after uneventful landing at the Great Falls, Montana airport on runway 21, directional heading sw, while on a pleasure trip. Investigation found the nose gear axle bolt (intact, without nut & cotter pin) on runway centerline approximately 200 yards prior to where aircraft came to rest. Nose gear did not completely collapse, rather left nose gear fork casting failed near strut and tire/wheel assembly folded over. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed at the time and no flight plan was filed. The aircraft received minor damage, and the commercially certificated pilot and three passengers were not injured. The flight originated at long beach, California, on June 22, 2009, at 0630 with subsequent stops of slc, rks and bil. Departure flight from bil to gtf (destination) was approximately 1730 local.
