What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
(-23) Pilot was making a VFR VOR practice approach to mwh runway 4. He extended the gear for landing and observed the green light and the gear down mechanical indicator for the nose gear. Shortly there after a pop was heard and he lost all electrical power. The pilot continued with light gun signal and landed on the main gear holding the nose off as long as he could. Just after lowering the nose the left gear collapsed and the aircraft came to rest on the left gear door and wing tip. Damage was limited to the gear door and left wing tip lower skin. The left engine suffered a propeller strike.
