What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
During take-off roll on runway 01 at 40 knots the aircraft encountered a patch of snow covered ice and a left crosswind, as stated by the pilot. This caused the aircraft to veer left and travel across the runway where the propeller and nose wheel struck a snow bank. This caused the aircraft to nose over, coming to rest inverted near the first taxiway along the left side of the runway.
