From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On 4/26/2010 the pilot stated he flew from kpns to ksgj in a Mitsubishi N467MA. When returning to kpns the pilot stated he obtained ATIS oscar which described the winds as 310 @10, G19, and was cleared to land on rwy 26. The pilot stated on touch down the aircraft was on centerline andaligned with the runway. Immediately after touch down the aircraft was hit by a gust of wind (crosswind) and the aircraft veered hard left and clipped two runway edge lights with the left main tire (no cuts or damage) in the process of returning to centerline, the pilot reported to the tower his experience.
