From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Flight instructor emory stated that everything was normal during the approach to land. Just after they crossed the threshold the right wing suddenly dropped and hit the runway. Flight instructor emory determined that a landing was the best course of action and landed. The aircraft was pointed towards the taxiway and the aircraft cross the grass medium before he was able to stop. There was damage to the right wing tip fiberglass cap. He called his cheif instructor and a mechanic was dispatched. The mechanic inspected the aircraft and allowed the crew to return it to the home base.
