From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

At 1420 local time, N466TM was conducting high speed taxi testing of experimental camera equipment when it departed the end of runway 33 at approximately 5-10 knots. The airman was executing the second of his high speed runs. The runway is crowned at approximately midfield. At that location, the aircraft became airborne for a short period of time, then settled back onto the runway. At this point, the PIC executed a rejected t/o but was unable to stop within the remaining distance. The nose wheel and main gear entered the grassy area at the end of runway 33. The PIC taxied off the grassy area avoiding all lights and signage. N466TM returned to the ramp where the aircraft was inspected by an A&P mechanic for damage. No damage was found, an aircraft logbook entry was made, and the aircraft was returned to service. Per kjst airport management, no damage occurred to the airport environment.
