From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On may 29, 2010 the crew heard a number of loud bangs followed by multiple cas failure messages and a loss of information on the co-pilots MFD. The crew determined that the flight controls were sluggish, they would have only partial braking and mau indicated spoilers would not be operating. After declaring an emergency, they notified the passengers to prep for an emergency evacuation. They landed on the longest runway and came to a complete stop. The ground emergency crew was asked to check the brakes for overheating and the aircraft taxied to the gate.
