From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

After about 10 seconds of proper operation, privacy data omitted reports the engine quit completely. privacy data omitted Spotted a dirt road below the aircraft, lowered the gear and made an approach and emergency engine out landing on the road. The road had high dirt berms on each side, which caused the aircraft to spin sideways, depart the road, and come to a stop in the desert. privacy data omitted States they had not used the fuel tank selector valve for at least 15 minutes prior to the engine failure.
