From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft crashed on approach to ksrr approx 4215 ft from the end of the runway. It appears aircraft control was lost with a/c impacting the ground at a high angle in a left wing low position. Impact caused the a.c to cartwheel resulting in wing structure being torn from fuselage and came to rest on top of pax compartment. There was a small post crash fire that destroyed the nose of the a/c, instrument panel and front row passenger seating area and a portion of the outter left wing section.
