From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft departed 79J with pilot and 3 passengers on board. After takeoff he climbed to 7500 feet and proceeded to ism with a tailwind. He had air traffic flight following from 79J and was handed off to ism tower and entered a left downwind for runway 33. He monitored AWOS 30 miles out, 10 miles out, and on downwind leg. Winds were reported to be 300 degrees at 12 knots with no gusts. The pilot stated that when over the top of runway 33 with 20 degrees of flaps and at 70 to 72 knots indicated, he got a gust of wind that raised the left wing up high. He applied full power and pushed in carb heat and the engine responded. He said he couldn't recover with the right wing almost in the grass and impacted the ground.
