From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft N6HK advised, while in traffic pattern, gear difficulties. Aircraft remained in area trying to resolve gear issues, when the gear was lowered the circuit breaker failed. Pilot tried to reset but was not able to. Pilot went to the check list and followed thrugh with the manual procedure to lower the gear. The gear came out about a foot and then locked there. Pilot flew by the tower to have them visually see where the gear was. Aircraft was unable to land due to the landing gear issue and advised tower that he was attempting a gear up landing on runway 34. Aircraft landed with gear up safely at 2315 UTC. No post fire or injuries were reported.
