From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

At approximately 1415 on 05/03/11, N1902K landed at NC11, a private grass air field. On roll out pilot applied brakes and aircraft nosed over with propeller striking the ground and aircraft ending up side down. Pilot reports no injury other than minor scrapes. Pilot was only occupant in aircraft. Pilot notified FSDO at approximately 1435 from his home which is near the airfield. When pilot returned to accident site the aircraft had been turned back over onto it's landing gear and moved to the side of the runway by friends of the pilot. The aircraft was then moved to the owners hangar where it was inspected on 5/4/11 by inspectors from FSDO EA-39. Damage to wings and tail surfaces appeared substantial. Damage caused while moving aircraft from accident site could not be determined. A statement was provided by pilot and pictures of the aircraft and runway site were taken.
