From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Elevator control jammed during 4th approach to landing at E80 (belen, NM). PIC elected to proceed to abq for longer runway and assistance if needed. Level flight maintained by using available trim (aileron reflex). On landing at abq, positive pitch attitude could not be maintained, resulting in bounced landing, subsequent hard landing. Left landing gear and right wing tip sheared off and aircraft came to rest 100 yards to right of runway centerline. Aircraft sustained substantial damage. No injuries to pilot or passenger
