From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The aircraft was en-route from boise, id (boi) to seattle, WA (sea) when the flight crew became aware of a #2 engine low oil pressure indication. The flight crew declared an emergency, shut down the #2 engine, and diverted the aircraft to Yakima, WA (ykm). The aircraft landed without incident but lost nose wheel steering during roll-out. The flight crew stopped the aircraft on the runway and shut down the #1 engine. The aircraft was towed off the runway.
