From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at approximately 0615 in the morning the pilot was taxiing aircraft N75AT to the runup area for takeoff on runway 15. The pilot failed to turn the aircraft which then rolled, at idle speed, straight off of the runup pad. The propeller struck a taxi light/pole approximatley 5 ft off the edge of the asphalt. The right main wheel came to rest, stuck in mud, just off the edge and the left main wheel remained on the asphalt. The airplane was pushed out of the mud by personnel and towed to operator's hanger for damage assessment. There was damage to two of three propeller blades and engine was to be removed for inspection. The taxi light was replaced prior to inspector arriving on site.
