From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The aircraft departed ktys ( tri-cities regional airport) at 10:20, under IFR conditions, to krvn (Hawkin County Airport) at 2500 AGL. He made his final approach under visual conditions, touching down at the 1000 ft. mark on a 3500 ft runway. A rain storm had just cleared the airport, leaving the runway wet. The pilot made one bounce, then applied the brakes in an attempt to slow the aircraft down, several times, with no noticeable effect. The aircraft continued down the runway and departed the end of runway #7, coming to rest about 25FT. Off the end of the runway.
