From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The aircraft was en-route from Dillingham, AK (padl) to togiak, AK (patg). The pilot was attempting to land at patg however when the pilot selected the landing gear handle to the down position, the nose landing gear did not extend. The pilot opted to return to padl due to emergency services being readily available there as well as having access to company ground personnel for assistance. After completing the emergency landing gear extension checklist and still unable to get the nose landing gear to extend, the pilot declared an emergency and landed on runway 1. The aircraft sustained minor damage, and no injuries were reported.
