From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On June 20, 2012 a student pilot on a solo cross country flight from grass valley (goo) to westover amador-Jackson (jaq) airport exited the runway after landing traveled down an embankment and nosed over. The student pilot stated that he touched down normal. As the nose wheel touched the ground it "went crazy". The aircraft steered to veer to the left. The student pilot applied control inputs to counteract the movement and the airplane swerved to the right and left a few times before it excited the right side of the runway near mid field.
