From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

During approach landing the pilot put the landing gear handle in the down position and did not get a safe gear light on the rt main landing gear. The pilot contacted the airport and ask them to see if the landing gear was down. The airport personnel informed the pilot the rt main was not down. The pilot broke off his approach and climbed out to see if he could get the landing gear down. Upon running the emergency procedures the pilot could not get the rt main landing gear down. He informed ground personnel he was going to land. Upon landing the right side of the aircraft contacted the ground and the aircraft veered off the runway.
