From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilots of aircraft #1 and #2 were heading northeast on a prearranged rendezvous course. Aircraft #1 was cruising approximately 150 mph. Aircraft #2 was approximately 235 mph. Pilot #2 advised pilot #1 that he would cross behind and pass low and outside on the left. As pilot #2 was passing pilot#1 in close proximity, trajectory caused collision of aircraft.

As the FAA filed it

PILOT #2 ADVISED PILOT #1 THAT HE WOULD CROSS BEHIND AND PASS LOW AND OUTSIDE ON THE LEFT. AS PILOT #2 WAS PASSING PILOT#1 IN CLOSE PROXIMITY, TRAJECTORY CAUSED COLLISION OF AIRCRAFT.
