From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

PIC stated after touchdown on runway 35 the PIC applied brakes and discovered no brake pressure. The PIC then pulled on the emergency brake handle and pumped it several times to no avail. Before running off the end of the runway PIC applied full left rudder to keep the aircraft from going directly off the end of the runway. Landing gear caught the edge of the perimeter road and spun 180 degrees coming to rest tail first in a creek one hundred feet off the end of runway 35.

Reviewed the central maintenance computer (cmc) download. Cmc did not log any faults in the brake system. Cmc logged touchdown at 16:10:44 and the parking brake being applied at 16:10:53, 9 seconds later. In my opinion the PIC (who was the pilot flying) landed her aircraft with a tailwind, long, on a non-grooved, wet (standing water) runway causing the aircraft to overrun the end of the runway.

As the FAA filed it
