From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

Pilot was departing on runway 17 from Llano airport (aqo) Llano, Texas enroute to denton municipal airport denton, Texas (dto). According to pilot on takeoff roll, the engine lost power at lift off. Pilot lost control of the airplane on takeoff roll and did get airborne momentarily then bounced back down to the runway striking the propeller in excess of 30 times before turning right and then leaving the runway. Upon leaving runway airplane flipped over onto its back. Pilot and passenger were not hurt. Fuel on board was 76 gallons. There was no post crash fire.
