From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The pilot was on a company part 91 repositioning flight from kgup to 0E8. The weather was VMC and runway conditions were dry. The pilot stated he departed for 0E8 from gup. ATC cleared him direct to 0E8 from 11OOO feet. During his descent into the airport, the pilot turned on his terrain awareness mode. He states there is little ground lighting and few visual references. He stated that he lined up for final and during approach he became focused on the runway. As the aircraft approached the runway he stated that the terrain awareness alarm sounded. As he pulled the power back for landing the gear horn sounded and he stated that he did not recognize the gear horn warning because it was sounding as the terrain awareness was continuing to alarm. The aircraft continued on to the runway with landing gear up. It slid left down the runway and came to rest on the left side of the runway.
